The ZEN Treehouse is the very suite mentioned in ISLANDS magazine as the perfect place to stay in Waimanalo. This suite was also requested by the iconic Condé Nast Traveler, but we were booked. (Darn.)
Crowned by our signature 14'-high vaulted ceilings and open at the gables, ZENs very spacious 900 square foot interior is naturally ventilated and comfortable. In addition, the copious windows and doors ensure you will enjoy every breeze and capture all bountiful sights and sounds of nature. (Past guests have said staying here feels like being up in a tree, hence the nickname "treehouse".)
The oversized kitchen has a huge granite countertop ideal for food preparation and casual dining. Equally oversized is the bathroom, a sensual treat unto itself. The huge walk-in travertine shower is lined with river rock (fabulous on bare feet) and has a 8" vertical rain shower head. Showers become a coveted experience. Amenities include lavender hand and body wash, hair dryer and make-up mirror.
Two spacious decks provide birds-eye views of the stunning Ko'olau Mountains and are the perfect place to enjoy your morning brew, to catch a few rays, or to enjoy a glass of wine while watching the moon rise.
The premium king bed is dressed in style and comfort in Pottery Barn's Signature 100% Organic Cotton bedding and the softest cotton bed linens we could find. (Even some of our self-proclaimed "bed snob" guests have raved that our choice of mattress, a "medium firm" with plush pillow top, is absolutely heavenly.)
